Ideas For Promoting EITC

Some relatively inexpensive ways employers you can alert their workers EITC include:

• Placing posters in employee break rooms;
• Posting a message on your company intranet site;  
• Linking from your intranet site to EITC information on www.irs.gov/eitc;  
• Including a stuffer with your Form W-2 mail-out;
• Leveraging other internal communication channels;
• Including EITC information in new employee orientations; and
• Joining with other interested parties in your community to focus a spotlight on the credit during National EITC Awareness Day
